Event Brief

The play “Mjaddara Hamra” deals with the reality of Lebanese and Arab women, through three women (Maryam, Fatam, Souad) who tell their stories and their relationship with their husbands and families and discuss social issues: such as marriage, divorce, domestic violence, motherhood, traditions and customs…

Anjo Rihane embodies these three characters in a black comedy monodrama conceived, written and directed by Yehia Jaber.

The play is still on tour and has been a great success since 2018.
